Special Needs Sponsor Page
A Little Factual Information
At times, unfortunately, CHS is faced with trying to provide various extensive medical treatments to some of the pets that come into their care. As with most non profit Humane organization, funding is extremely tight and depends mostly on dontations. CHS is located in the third largest county in land area in North Caorlina and by contrast is ranked one of the poorest counties in the state as well. However, CHS has taken in needy pets from surrounding counties when asked to. Even from counties with a more substantial economic base.
How Can You Help?
You can help CHS help these special needs pets by making donations to sponsor their medical needs, special nutritionals needs, etc.. When you sponsor a pet you will earn the title "Guardina Angel" for that pet. We will send you a picture of that pet and keep you updated on the progress of that pet as the process for healing for them goes along. With your permission, we will post your name as a "Guardian Angel" next to the pet on the sponsor page. If you prefer not to have your name listed, we will just note that the pet has a "Guardinan". Don't be shy, you can sponsor more than one pet and no pet is limited to one sponsor. The more the merrier! It's a great idea to make a donation in honor of a pet that you have had in your life.
You can make your sponsorship donations by check or money order to Columbus Humane Society, Inc. or by paying via Pay Pal (Pay Pal for CHS can be accessed at our sister site, http://www.columubushumanesociety.org). Please note which pet you wish to sponsor. CHS and these well deserving pets appreciate any little bit you can do to help them bring their health back to standard so that they will have a better chance at finding a forever home.

Molly - Special
Needs
My name is Molly and these words come straight from my foster mom!!!! Molly is approximately. 4 year old beautiful 30 lb. Beagle mix who is sweeter than sugar. Golden eyes to match her coat. Housetrained, crate trained, loves to go for short
walks, gets along with EVERYONE and all other dogs. I believe she would be fine
with cats as well. She is a very sweet girl, and almost no trouble at
all.
However......Molly's rear legs are not in good shape. She was run too hard. She is recovering now from a partially torn tendon but healing well. She needs a quiet home, and a quiet lifestyle. She should never be allowed to run, jump, and should not have to go up and down stairs. Her rear legs need babied. No children. I think an older couple who are looking for a quiet inactive dog would be the perfect home for Molly. For hear more fabulous things about me, call Betty at 910-653-5366.
